1 hour and 30 minutes

Easy

The PUBLIC Night Watchman Walk in English takes place every Tuesday after sunset from April to October. Participation is limited to a maximum of 15 people.

Experience the charm of illuminated Lucerne as you follow the Night Watchman through the city's historic streets. Hear captivating legends, ghost stories, and tales of witches and demons, including the famous Legend of the Riot of Lucerne.

Learn what life was like in medieval Lucerne, from daily struggles to the laws and order of the time. Your Night Watchman guide, dressed in authentic medieval attire and armed with a traditional Swiss Halberd, will lead you through narrow alleyways and hidden corners of the old town.
